Pie Anyone?
Pie, pie, and more pie!
So our ward had a 24th of July celebration last night and there was a pie contest. I enjoy a good pie so I decided to enter. My first thought was a peach pie.
But then I decided to do a summer berry pie, a chocolate cream pie, and a sweet potato pie. I admit, it was a little overkill, but they were a lot of fun to make.

Sweet PotatoI ended up winning 2nd and 3rd place and a prize for the "Most Surprising" for my Sweet Potato pie. I am not quite sure how to take that last award. They were either surprised that it was good because it looked so bad, or they were surprised they didn't die. I am not quite sure...
It was all in good fun, but next year I am out for blood!!
