Camping

We went camping with Alan's brother's family a few weeks back.  The kids had a great time.  We borrowed a canoe and the kids got dirty.  Good times!

Mom and Bruce Preschool

Bruce and I have started our own little preschool class.  I imagine that it will grow, but for now it is just the two of us.  Yesterday was our first class and we learned about the letter "A."  I decided the best way to keep all of our worksheets and art projects would be to glue them in a composition notebook.  

 

We did a few worksheets and talked about things that start with the letter "A" and then we did an art project. We made an apple tree using finger paints.  I only have pink, purple, and yellow so it was a little abstract.  He didn't seem to mind.   

 Then I let him practice his cutting skills.  He loves to cut paper. 

 

 If feel like our first class was a success.  Tomorrow we will revisit "A" and next week we will start on "B."  I have to get my teaching fix in somewhere.  Poor Bruce!

Caught Ya!

Bruce knows how to be sneaky, but I caught him this time.  A little advise kid, next time you crawl on to the counter and mangle a tomato, don't take pictures.

WaHooz!

Alan's work recently celebrated their 30 year anniversary and in celebration they sent their staff to WaHooz for the evening.  We had a lot of fun.

 Lucy was really good.  No fussing and Alan's friend Ty was nice enough to carry her around for a little while. 

 Bruce wanted to play laser tag but had to ride in the stroller.  He got an Icee for his troubles.

We ended up staying until almost 10:00.  It was late but the kids had a great time.  Thank you Cougar Mountain Software!

Family Field Trip #5

For family field trip #5 we went to the zoo with Alan's brother's family.  The kids had a great time and Alan and I enjoyed it as well.

 This is a life size tiger.  I think it could eat all of the children.  Kinda scary.

We had a great time at the zoo.  Not pictured; Candice almost steps on a wallaby...OK it was a baby wallaby.  It was an accident.  I promise.
