Our weather has been mostly pleasant as of late which is awesome because we finally finished the play set Some friends of ours were selling their play set and they offered it to us first. We were so glad because we knew our kids were going to love it.
Lucy has really enjoyed playing outside.
Happy kid.
Here is the play set all painted and put together. I re-stained the whole thing and Alan put most of it back together. We had to call over some help to get the top lifted but he did most of the rest by himself. I love the way it looks. The kids will be able to play on this for many years to come.
Karina and Bruce enjoying the swings.
I put the baby play set and the sandbox in the same area. I like the spot were we put everything because I can see it all out the kitchen window.
Our next project is to finish the hole for the trampoline. We are almost done. Bruce has been helping. I went outside yesterday and Bruce was in the hole digging all by himself. What a funny little boy.
We spent some time on the set yesterday. The kids really like the swings.
Bruce was pretending the slide was a car. He would sit on the top and put his hands on the pretend steering wheel, turn the pretend ignition, and shoot down the slide.
It wore him out pretty good. The play set has many perks!
CHOCOLATE!!!!
I borrowed my mom's chocolate fountain for Sarina's bridal shower. I came home and decided it would be fun to eat some with the kiddos. I was right. They had a great time dipping things and getting messy.
Bruce didn't get any though. He wouldn't eat his dinner.
Lucy thought it was all very yummy.
Karina had it down. Dip, eat, dip, and eat.
Even Alan had a good time. Now that is saying something.
A great time had by most (all but Bruce, I am such a mean mom).

Family Time
After our trip to Utah, Alan went home and the kids and I went to Rigby. Alan came over with Karina later that week and Scott and his family came on Saturday. It was like a mini family reunion. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to spend some time with Scott and his family. We hadn't seen them in almost two years.
Lucy loves her GranDebbie.
Easter Sunday the kids wore their new Easter outfits and some of the cousins (Millie and Eli) joined in for a few pictures.
Karina is her new Easter dress.
Eli and Millie posing for pics.
Lucy in her Easter outfit. I am pretty proud of these dresses. They are my first dresses 100% by myself.
Able snuck in to Grandpa's car. He thought it was pretty funny.
Able eating breakfast.
Lucy eating breakfast. She looks pretty crazy here.
Uncle Dan tolerating all of us.
Millie was helping her momma clean the car.
Able. He is pretty cute.
I took the kids around the yard in the quad. We found an Easter egg we had missed on Sunday. After that the kids had eagle eyes, but no more eggs were found.
Me and my girls.
Mom and Dad took us to Leo's place for lunch on our last full day. They kids had a great time and we all had fun in the arcade.
Scott looks like he is helping the kids, but you know he was playing most of the game himself...
You can also see little Wilson here.
Rebekah and Eli playing ski ball. I love ski ball.
Bruce riding the motorcycle.
GranDebbie and Millie playing ski ball.
GranDebbie and Millie playing something else (I don't know what this one is).
They have this room full of climbing stuff and slides. The kids loved it. Here is Millie after she went down the slide.
Scott observing.
Able playing. Scott had to basically get him up top so he would stay inside. I think he was just trying to get out the whole time, but he seemed happy about it.
Lucy, Wilson, Rebekah, and Mom hanging out at the table.
We had a great time in Rigby.

March Family Field Trip/Family Pictures
We went to my parent's house for Easter weekend. While we were there we were able to visit my brother's family and spend some time with my parents. We had a lot of fun.
We also took new family pictures. They turned out pretty good considering that Lucy wouldn't smile and Bruce wouldn't look at the camera. Karina always does well.
I have to crop this a little and I would like to edit all of them, but I haven't done it yet.
She is so stinkin cute.
The camera loves this one.
Put the boy in a tree and he will smile.
My cute kiddos.

Trip to Utah
Alan had the opportunity to take a training course in Salt Lake the last week in March. I was excited to go with him because it has been way too long since I have seen my Gramma Kaye! We spent the whole day with Gramma and I feel blessed that we were given that time.
Bruce and Lucy also enjoyed our time with Gramma. He still asks about going to see her at night after prayers. I think he had a good time with Gramma, but I also thing he really loved her toy collection.
She had army men, and tractors. What more could a little boy want!!
Lucy was in an amazingly good mood. She is such a good kid!
Gramma really enjoyed both kids!
Love it!
Lucy loves the button, but if she pushed it all the nurses would come running!
I love my Gramma Kaye! I am so glad that we were able to spend some time with her!
*On a side note- Gramma went sky diving last week. Pretty crazy. She told us she was going to do it when we were visiting and I thought she was kidding. She wasn't. What an awesome lady!
Mommy's Little Helper
Bruce eats pancakes on a pretty regular basis; 3-4 times a week. He loves them. Whenever I make them he has to help, whether I want him to or not. He is actually a pretty good little helper.
I sure do love this little boy. He teaches me patience and love. I still have a lot more to learn, but we are getting there.
February Family Field Trip
I have some catching up to do, so we will start in February.
In February we went to Jumpin Jungle. It is this really cool bounce house place here in Nampa (or at least it was, it closed last month). We went when G-ma Debbie was in town and the kids had a blast!!!
Karina was getting very brave .
Alan is showing off his skills here. Mad skillz!
Karina and Bruce could have played until they passed out I am pretty sure.
They even have 6 little cars for the very little kids to play in. Lucy loved them.
Alan and Karina fought it out in the Gladiator ring. I did this as well with Alan and I lost big time.
Lucy and I went down the slide.
Alan and the kids going down the slide.
Alan and ALL the kids going down the slide.
We had a great time and are a little bummed that the Jungle has closed. I am glad we got to go while we had the chance though.
